The tamper-resistant shutters slide smoothly but feel reassuringly solid when I plug in my heavy appliances. I swapped out two old outlets in the kitchen and the 20-amp rating handles the microwave and toaster without a hiccup. The graphite color looks way more premium in person than in the photos.
