The slide action is smooth and the preset dial lets me lock in my exact brightness, which I love for my office LEDs. Black faceplate looks sharp against the white wall, though it took a bit of fiddling to get the 0-10V wiring right.
Installed this in a three-way setup and the black finish looks sharp against the ivory wall plate. The preset dimmer holds the level perfectly between rooms, no flicker on my LEDs. Toggle is firm but not stiff, exactly what I wanted.
The preset slider is what sold me—set it once and the lights come on at exactly the right level every time. Wiring it as a 3-way took a bit of patience, but the toggle action feels solid and the black finish looks sharp against the wall.
